Responsibilities
- Design and execute corporate EHS strategies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ regulations
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety audits across industrial facilities
- Develop emergency response plans and lead incident investigations
- Manage environmental compliance programs including waste management and air quality monitoring
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Analyze EHS data to identify trends and implement corrective actions
- Oversee sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing/energy sector
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Proven expertise in ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards implementation
- Advanced knowledge of EPA/OSHA/TCEQ regulatory frameworks
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
