Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and audits for industrial facilities and remote sites
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementations
- Manage hazardous waste streams, air permits, and environmental compliance reporting
- Deliver engaging safety training programs including emergency response and PPE protocols
- Track EHS KPIs using data analytics and prepare executive dashboards
- Stay current with evolving EPA, TCEQ, and federal regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or Engineering
- 8+ years EHS management experience in energy/manufacturing sectors
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CHMM credential required
- Expertise in OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and waste management
- Proven track record in developing safety management systems
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong data analysis and incident investigation skills
- OSHA 501 and hazardous materials certification preferred
