Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems compliant with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and preventive measure implementation
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for employees at all levels
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air/water quality monitoring, and environmental permitting
- Stay current with evolving EHS regulations and industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed safety culture into daily operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- OSHA 30-hour certification and/or CSP/CHMM credentials preferred
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enviance, ProcessMAP)
- Demonstrated success in developing safety protocols and reducing workplace incidents
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex regulations
- Excellent communication skills for training diverse audiences
