Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and mitigation strategies
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air permits, and environmental monitoring protocols
- Deliver engaging EHS training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate EHS metrics into business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP designation preferred
- Proficiency with environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA)
- Advanced knowledge of industrial hygiene, PPE, and emergency response protocols
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
