Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct workplace safety audits, hazard assessments, and regulatory compliance reviews
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, spill prevention, and emergency response protocols
- Monitor environmental metrics and sustainability initiatives for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into all operational processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field
- 5+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CSP/CHRM credentials preferred
- Expert knowledge of federal/state EHS regulations and reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, ProcessMAP)
- Strong data analysis skills with ability to generate actionable insights
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities with C-suite experience
- Crisis management experience with proven emergency response protocols
