Responsibilities

- Conduct routine facility audits and risk assessments for chemical, physical, and biological hazards
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Design and deliver employee training programs on safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and air/water quality monitoring programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into operational workflows
- Prepare regulatory compliance documentation and maintain meticulous record-keeping
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, or CIH) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and state environmental regulations
- Proven experience developing and implementing safety management systems
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Cority, ProcessMAP)
- Excellent communication abilities for training diverse audiences
- Valid driver's license for facility travel
