Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility inspections, air quality monitoring, and hazardous waste audits
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage environmental compliance documentation and regulatory reporting
- Coordinate emergency response drills and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior EHS staff and foster cross-departmental safety collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification required
- Advanced proficiency in regulatory software (e.g., Enablon, ComplianceQuest)
- Demonstrated experience with industrial hygiene sampling and PPE program management
- Strong knowledge of Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
- Valid driver's license with clean record for facility travel
