Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct routine facility audits and inspections to identify compliance gaps
- Investigate incidents and near-misses; recommend corrective actions
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental permitting
- Lead emergency response planning and drills
- Prepare regulatory reports for EPA, TCEQ, and OSHA
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using KPI tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CHMM designation preferred
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software proficiency (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Excellent communication and training facilitation abilities
- Experience managing hazardous materials compliance
- Proven incident investigation and root cause analysis track record
