Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, air quality monitoring, and hazardous material handling audits
- Manage environmental compliance programs including waste disposal, emissions tracking, and sustainability reporting
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (EPA, TCEQ) and maintain compliance documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analytics and KPI tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settingsProfessional certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, or CIH) required
- Expert knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ regulations
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, EnviroManager)
- Strong data analysis skills with experience developing EHS dashboards
- Excellent communication abilities for training and stakeholder engagement
- Proven record of reducing incident rates by 30%+
