Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives for industrial facilities
- Manage environmental compliance programs including air/water permits, waste minimization, and sustainability reporting
- Deliver engaging safety training programs and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS principles into business operations
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation required
- Proven expertise in OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and risk management frameworks
- Strong data analysis skills with experience using EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Excellent leadership abilities with demonstrated success in driving cultural change
- Valid Texas driver's license and willingness to travel to company facilities (up to 25%)
