Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead regulatory compliance audits for EPA, TCEQ, and DOT requirements
- Design and execute industrial hygiene monitoring programs for chemical and physical hazards
- Facilitate root cause analysis for incidents and implement corrective action plans
- Coordinate emergency response protocols and crisis management drills
- Manage environmental permitting, reporting, and sustainability metrics tracking
- Train 500+ employees on safety protocols using VR simulation technology
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or petrochemical industries
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Expertise in OSHA 1910/1911 standards and EPA hazardous waste regulations
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Proven track record of reducing TRIR rates by 30%+
- Strong data analysis skills with experience leading behavioral safety programs
