Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our EHR systems, ensuring seamless integration with other hospital platforms.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards across all digital health records.
- Conduct regular data audits to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Train medical staff and administrators on new software updates, features, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and clinical leadership to drive digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Health Information Management, or a related technical field.
- Certification as RHIT or RHIA is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT, medical records management, or a similar role.
- Deep understanding of EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or Allscripts experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH Act, and healthcare data security protocols.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
