Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
  • Conduct multi-site safety audits and environmental compliance inspections with actionable corrective plans
  • Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis methodologies to prevent recurrence
  • Design and deliver targeted safety training programs for 500+ employees across diverse operational areas
  • Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and ensure full EPA/RCRA compliance
  • Monitor air/water quality using advanced instrumentation and maintain regulatory reporting systems
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety-by-design principles into new projects
  • Stay current on evolving regulations (TCEQ, OSHA, EPA) and implement proactive compliance measures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
  • Active CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification
  • Expertise in OSHA recordkeeping (300/300A/301) and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Advanced proficiency with EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or similar)
