Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to develop corrective action plans
- Conduct facility audits and regulatory compliance assessments across 12+ operational sites
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and air permitting compliance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using EHS software platforms
- Represent the company in regulatory agency interactions and industry forums
- Mentor EHS technicians and coordinate cross-functional safety committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Expertise in EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations with proven compliance track record
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or similar platforms)
- Demonstrated success in leading behavioral-based safety programs
- Strong data analysis skills with experience developing EHS KPI dashboards
- Excellent communication abilities for training diverse audiences and executive reporting
