Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Manage environmental compliance programs including air/water permits, waste management, and spill prevention
- Coordinate regulatory interactions with OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and other governing bodies
- Design and deliver safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple facilities
- Conduct risk assessments for new processes and equipment integration
- Oversee EHS data reporting and sustainability metrics tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Proven expertise in OSHA VPP and EPA auditing protocols
- Advanced knowledge of Texas environmental regulations and TCEQ requirements
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS software platforms
- Exceptional leadership abilities with cross-functional team management experience
- OSHA 30-hour and HAZWOPER certifications required
