Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct risk assessments and audits for manufacturing facilities and remote sites
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental permitting processes
- Train staff on safety protocols, emergency response, and sustainability practices
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance
- Collaborate with leadership on EHS budgeting and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification
- 5+ years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- Expert knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations (TCEQ, EPA)
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- OSHA 30-hour and Incident Command System (ICS) training
- Proven track record of reducing TRIR rates below industry averages
