Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Conduct facility audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses with corrective action tracking
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives for EPA, TCEQ, and local ordinances
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and air emission permits
- Coordinate emergency response drills and crisis management protocols
- Drive sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction and circular economy projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification required
- Minimum 7 years EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Expertise in OSHA regulations, EPA reporting, and state-specific environmental requirements
- Proven track record of reducing TRIR rates by 30%+ in previous roles
- Advanced data analysis skills using EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong project management experience with cross-functional teams
