Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air quality monitoring, and spill prevention programs
- Conduct regular facility audits and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Train employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and sustainability initiatives
- Manage EHS documentation, reporting, and regulatory submissions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management, or related field
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification required
- Deep expertise in OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and waste management protocols
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful EHS programs
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in EHS software platforms
- Exceptional communication abilities for training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
