Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air permitting, and environmental reporting (EPA/TCEQ)
- Conduct workplace safety audits and ergonomic assessments across 15+ facilities
- Train 500+ employees on OSHA compliance, emergency response, and sustainability practices
- Oversee spill prevention control countermeasure (SPCC) programs and stormwater management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using EHS software platforms like Enablon
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Expertise in federal/state regulations (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ)
- Proven success developing and implementing behavioral-based safety programs
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHS reporting tools
- Experience managing cross-functional EHS teams and contractors
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and sustainability frameworks
