Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct facility audits and ensure compliance with federal/state environmental regulations (EPA, TCEQ)
- Manage hazardous waste programs, air permits, and spill prevention protocols
- Design and deliver safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Collaborate with operations leadership to integrate EHS into business processes
- Prepare regulatory reports and manage EHS documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 8+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification required
- Expert knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Texas regulatory frameworks
- Advanced experience with industrial hygiene and air quality monitoring
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional EHS initiatives
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software proficiency (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
