Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses across 5+ manufacturing sites
- Conduct regular facility audits and implement corrective action plans
- Train 500+ employees on safety protocols, emergency response, and sustainability practices
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental permitting processes
- Collaborate with executive team to align EHS initiatives with corporate sustainability goals
- Track KPIs including TRIR, EMR, and regulatory compliance rates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or heavy industry
- CSP, CIH, or CHMM certification required
- Proven expertise with OSHA 1910 standards and EPA regulations
- Advanced knowledge of industrial hygiene and air quality monitoring
- Strong experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Proficient in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or similar platforms)
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to influence across organizational levels
