Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Manage environmental compliance programs including air/water permits, waste disposal, and spill prevention
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ergonomic assessments across facilities
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Stay current on evolving EPA, TCEQ, and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate EHS into business operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial setting
- OSHA certification (CSP/CHMM preferred) and valid 40-hour HAZWOPER training
- Proven experience managing environmental compliance programs in Texas
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, TCEQ, and OSHA regulations
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software (e.g., Enviance, ProcessMAP)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence all organizational levels
