Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with data-driven corrective actions
- Lead hazardous waste management programs and ensure regulatory compliance (EPA, TCEQ)
- Design and deliver employee training programs on safety protocols and environmental best practices
- Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into operational workflows
- Monitor KPIs and prepare executive reports on EHS performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) credential required
- Deep expertise in EPA/OSHA regulations, hazardous materials handling, and waste management
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful safety culture programs
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHS software experience (e.g., Intelex, EnviroManager)
- Strong project management capabilities with experience leading cross-functional initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills for training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
