Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Conduct regular facility audits and safety training for 200+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental permit compliance
- Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain crisis management protocols
- Track EHS KPIs and prepare executive-level compliance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or energy industry
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Advanced proficiency with OSHA VPP and EPA regulations
- Proven track record of reducing workplace incidents by 30%+
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- OSHA 501 certification required
