Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence
- Conduct regular facility audits and ensure corrective action implementation
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air emissions monitoring, and spill prevention protocols
- Train employees on safety procedures, emergency response, and sustainable practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational planning
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain compliance documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using EHS metrics and KPIs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP credentials preferred
- Proficiency with environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Experience with EHS software (e.g., Intelex, ProcessMAP)
- Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional EHS initiatives
