As a leader in environmental stewardship, you'll develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs, ensuring adherence to OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead hazardous waste management programs including RCRA compliance and spill response protocols
- Conduct workplace safety audits and root cause analyses for incidents
- Manage air quality permits, stormwater compliance, and environmental reporting
- Train staff on PPE usage, emergency procedures, and sustainable practices
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections and permitting processes
- Analyze EHS data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 10+ years EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential
- Advanced knowledge of EPA regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Air Act)
- Experience developing SPCC, SWPPP, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional safety committees
