Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments to identify hazards
- Manage incident investigations and corrective action plans
- Oversee hazardous waste disposal and environmental monitoring systems
- Lead employee training programs on safety protocols and emergency response
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Prepare EHS reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
- Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations and EPA compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis
- Excellent communication abilities for training and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, VelocityEHS)
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple sites
