Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action protocols
- Conduct routine facility audits and ensure compliance with EPA, TCEQ, and federal regulations
- Develop and deliver engaging EHS training programs for 500+ employees
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air quality monitoring, and emergency response planning
- Analyze EHS performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate sustainability goals into business operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CHMM designation required
- Proven expertise in OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and Texas environmental statutes
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enviance, ProcessMAP)
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site EHS programs
- Strong data analysis capabilities and experience with KPI development
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
