Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments to identify environmental hazards and safety vulnerabilities
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives for air quality, waste management, and hazardous materials handling
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees across multiple departments
- Manage incident investigation processes and implement corrective action plans
- Oversee environmental permit renewals and maintain regulatory reporting documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability initiatives into production processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in EHS role within manufacturing or industrial setting
- Professional certifications (CSP, CHMM, or CIH) strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of federal/state EHS regulations (EPA, TCEQ, OSHA)
- Proven experience implementing successful safety management systems
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Exceptional communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB)
