As a key member of our corporate responsibility team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional departments to embed safety-first culture and environmental stewardship into every facet of our operations. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Lead environmental compliance programs including air/water permits, waste management, and spill prevention planning
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage regulatory reporting requirements and maintain relationships with EPA, TCEQ, and OSHA authorities
- Champion sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction and circular economy projects
- Emergency response coordinator for hazardous materials incidents and natural disasters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations with practical compliance experience
- Proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Enviance, ProcessMAP)
- Strong data analytics skills with experience developing EHS KPI dashboards
- OSHA 501 certification and hazardous waste management training
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences and present to executive leadership
