Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
  • Conduct regular facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Lead environmental compliance programs including air/water permits, waste management, and spill prevention planning
  • Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees across multiple sites
  • Manage regulatory reporting requirements and maintain relationships with EPA, TCEQ, and OSHA authorities
  • Champion sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction and circular economy projects
  • Emergency response coordinator for hazardous materials incidents and natural disasters

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
  • Advanced knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations with practical compliance experience
  • Proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Enviance, ProcessMAP)
  • Strong data analytics skills with experience developing EHS KPI dashboards
