You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental stewardship, directly influencing our organizational excellence and operational longevity.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies and programs to ensure 100% regulatory compliance.
- Lead facility-wide risk assessments and incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on OSHA regulations, hazardous materials handling, and emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections to proactively identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Manage environmental permits, waste disposal manifests, and reporting processes with federal and state agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to integrate EHS initiatives into daily operational workflows.
- Prepare and present monthly EHS performance metrics and trends to executive management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS role.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state-specific environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to manage emergency response scenarios and site evacuation protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and EHS management software platforms.
