Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems across all site operations.
- Conduct regular site audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with EPA, OSHA, and state-level environmental and safety regulations.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurring safety lapses.
- Drive employee training programs, including emergency response, hazard communication, and PPE usage.
- Manage environmental permits, waste disposal programs, and air/water quality monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to integrate safety culture into daily production workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS leadership role.
- Proven expertise in OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulatory standards.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) designation highly preferred.
- Strong background in risk management, incident investigation, and safety auditing processes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse workforce teams.
- Proficiency in EHS software platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
