EcoCore Industrial Solutions is seeking a visionary Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our dynamic team in Houston. In this role, you will lead the charge in cultivating a culture of safety excellence and environmental stewardship across our high-output manufacturing facilities.
You will be the primary architect of our safety compliance framework, ensuring we remain at the forefront of regulatory standards while driving innovative programs that protect our most valuable asset—our people.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular site inspections and internal audits to identify and mitigate operational hazards.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Oversee compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental regulations.
- Coordinate and deliver high-impact safety training modules for all levels of staff.
- Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and emissions monitoring initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in an EHS role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) preferred.
- Deep working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR and EPA regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive cultural shifts in safety.
- Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to hazard prevention.
- Strong proficiency in technical writing and safety management software.
