  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-specific environmental and safety regulations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
  • Lead safety training programs for all levels of staff, fostering a proactive safety culture.
  • Oversee hazardous waste management and environmental reporting (Tier II, TRI, Air Permits).
  • Coordinate emergency response planning and lead drill exercises.
  • Manage EHS budget and procurement of safety equipment and industrial hygiene services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS leadership role.
  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Federal and Texas state environmental and safety laws.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.
  • Strong technical writing and reporting skills for regulatory submissions.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% between regional facility sites.
