Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies and procedures tailored to industrial operations.
- Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage regulatory compliance, including permitting, reporting, and environmental monitoring.
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification such as CIRO, CSP, or NEBOSH is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in EHS management within the Oil & Gas or Manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and environmental regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clear reporting.
