Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS strategies to achieve zero-harm operational objectives.
- Lead rigorous facility audits and inspections to ensure strict adherence to OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Coordinate with executive leadership to streamline environmental compliance reporting and waste management protocols.
- Facilitate high-impact safety training sessions to foster a proactive, incident-prevention culture.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) for all near-misses and safety incidents.
- Oversee hazardous material handling processes and emergency response planning.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce carbon emissions and operational waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS role.
- Proven track record of managing OSHA/EPA compliance within a high-stakes environment.
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Proficiency in EHS software platforms for data tracking and analytics.
