Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS strategies to achieve zero-incident operational goals.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental regulations.
- Lead root-cause analysis for all safety incidents and implement corrective action plans.
- Oversee rigorous EHS training programs for a diverse workforce of 500+ employees.
- Manage environmental permitting, waste management, and emissions monitoring protocols.
- Conduct regular site audits to identify hazards and drive continuous improvement in safety metrics.
- Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory bodies and external safety auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in EHS management within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH certification highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of OSHA 29 CFR and EPA regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build a culture of safety accountability.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in incident tracking software and data reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead safety committee meetings.
