Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS programs to ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
- Lead root-cause analysis for all safety incidents and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, and environmental impact studies to maintain operational excellence.
- Design and deliver high-engagement safety training programs for cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air emission monitoring, and water discharge reporting protocols.
- Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders during safety inspections.
- Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in safety culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS role.
- Proven track record of managing OSHA/EPA compliance and successful regulatory audits.
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and data analysis tools.
