Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality permits, and environmental compliance reporting
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational workflows
- Monitor KPIs and prepare executive reports on EHS performance metrics
- Stay current with evolving regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
- Expertise in OSHA regulations, hazardous materials management, and environmental compliance
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enviance)
- Strong data analysis and incident investigation skills
- Excellent communication abilities for training and stakeholder engagement
- Valid Texas driver's license and willingness to travel to satellite sites
