Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct routine facility audits and air/water quality monitoring for regulatory compliance
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and emergency response protocols
- Oversee sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction and waste minimization
- Interface with regulatory agencies (TCEQ, EPA) and maintain compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Expertise in OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ regulations with proven compliance track record
- Advanced data analysis skills using EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong incident investigation and risk assessment methodologies
- OSHA 501 certification and 40-hour HAZWOPER training
- Experience implementing behavioral-based safety programs
