EcoCore Industrial Solutions is seeking a dynamic Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to spearhead our safety initiatives at our flagship Houston facility. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure strict adherence to OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
- Lead root-cause analysis for workplace incidents and implement corrective action plans.
- Design and deliver high-impact safety training programs for diverse employee groups.
- Manage environmental compliance reporting, including hazardous waste disposal and air quality monitoring.
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate sustainability metrics into operational KPIs.
- Oversee emergency response planning and lead drills to ensure workforce readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS leadership role.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and EPA environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to influence organizational culture and drive behavioral-based safety programs.
- Strong technical proficiency in safety management software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex data to executive stakeholders.
