Are you a safety-first leader passionate about sustainable industrial operations? EcoCore Industrial Solutions is seeking a dynamic EHS Manager to oversee our Houston manufacturing facility. You will be the architect of our safety culture, ensuring total compliance while driving continuous improvement in environmental sustainability.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workplace safety, collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and foster an environment where every employee returns home safe daily.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ).
- Lead internal and external audits to identify hazardous conditions and provide actionable remediation strategies.
- Facilitate comprehensive risk assessments, including Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and industrial hygiene surveys.
- Manage the incident investigation process, conduct root cause analysis, and track corrective action plans to closure.
- Oversee employee safety training programs, including LOTO, Fall Protection, HazCom, and Emergency Response.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, including waste management optimization and emissions reporting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies, insurance auditors, and local emergency services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing safety leadership role.
- Professional certification (CSP, CIH, or CHMM) is highly preferred.
- Deep working knowledge of federal and Texas state environmental and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to influence culture and lead change initiatives across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in incident data tracking and KPI reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex cross-departmental projects.
