Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies and management systems.
- Lead root-cause analysis investigations for incidents and implement corrective action plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections and internal audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage environmental permitting processes including air, water, and waste management.
- Coordinate employee training programs on safety procedures, emergency response, and hazard communication.
- Partner with site leadership to drive a proactive culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an EHS leadership role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR and EPA environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive cultural change.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with regulatory agencies.
