Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
- Lead root-cause analysis and incident investigations to prevent recurrence of workplace hazards.
- Manage environmental permits, waste disposal, and emissions tracking programs.
- Oversee employee training programs related to hazardous materials, PPE, and emergency response.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to integrate safety into daily production workflows.
- Monitor and report on EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS role.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) designation preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR and EPA regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage complex safety projects and lead site-wide cultural change.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate safety protocols at all levels.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and MS Office Suite.
