Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA).
- Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Manage incident investigations, including root cause analysis (RCA) and the development of preventive strategies to reduce recurrence.
- Lead the design, delivery, and tracking of safety training programs, emergency response drills, and toolbox talks.
- Monitor environmental performance metrics, waste management systems, and sustainability goals to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS standards into daily operations and project planning.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in EHS management, preferably within the technology or manufacturing sector.
- Certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CES (Certified Environmental Specialist) is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of OSHA standards, Cal/OSHA regulations, and EPA compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex safety data and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of training and stakeholder engagement.
