EcoCore Industrial Solutions is looking for a strategic EHS Manager to oversee our high-compliance facilities in Houston. In this role, you will champion a culture of safety, minimize our environmental footprint, and ensure total regulatory adherence.
You will work cross-functionally to implement cutting-edge safety protocols, manage audit processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our regional sites.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems across all site operations.
- Lead rigorous facility inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-level regulations.
- Coordinate and deliver high-impact safety training programs for cross-functional teams.
- Manage environmental permits, including air, water, and waste reporting and compliance tracking.
- Lead root-cause investigations for all safety incidents and implement corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with operations management to integrate EHS KPIs into daily production workflows.
- Prepare detailed monthly performance reports for senior executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH certification highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in driving safety culture transformation and behavior-based safety initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in managing complex environmental data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
