Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test advanced power electronics and control systems for various applications.
- Perform detailed circuit analysis, simulations, and worst-case analysis to ensure robust designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Software, Firmware) to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for system verification and validation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and system-level issues during development and production.
- Contribute to the selection and evaluation of new components, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., safety, EMI/EMC) and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, schematics, BOMs, and technical reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in electrical hardware design, with a strong focus on power electronics or embedded systems.
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle).
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles, power conversion, and signal integrity.
- Experience with EMI/EMC compliance and mitigation techniques.
- Familiarity with various communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet).
- Demonstrated ability to perform hands-on testing, debugging, and characterization of hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
