Responsibilities
- Conduct regular environmental audits and safety inspections to ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Cal-OSHA regulations.
- Lead investigations into workplace incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and develop effective corrective action plans.
- Design and facilitate comprehensive safety training programs and workshops for staff at all levels.
- Manage the incident reporting system, track KPIs, and prepare detailed regulatory reports for management.
- Oversee waste management protocols and ensure adherence to environmental protection standards.
- Partner with operations to integrate safety into daily workflows and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ASP, CSP, CIROH, or NEBOSH) is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in EHS compliance, auditing, or industrial safety management.
- Deep understanding of OSHA standards and California Environmental Regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex safety data and metrics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training and reporting.
