Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Lead and coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, including environmental permits and safety documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, or CSP/CIH is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, environmental laws, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
