What You’ll Do:
As the EHS Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our environmental and occupational health programs, ensuring we meet the highest regulatory standards while promoting a proactive safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems (ISO 14001, OSHA compliance) aligned with company goals.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Lead thorough incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective action plans.
- Manage regulatory reporting requirements, including EPA, Cal-OSHA, and local environmental compliance documentation.
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for all employee levels, from executive leadership to entry-level staff.
- Cultivate a strong safety culture by promoting open communication, hazard reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor environmental performance metrics and prepare monthly/quarterly EHS performance reports for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in EHS management, preferably within the technology or manufacturing sectors.
- Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or similar professional designation is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, and California state environmental and safety laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex safety data.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence behavior change across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and MS Office Suite.
